Congratulations to Maki Jenner of the Halifax Thunderbirds on being the first female in history to do Colour Commentary on a National Lacrosse League game.
Since joining the Thunderbirds organization, the Victoria, British Columbia native has excelled in the lacrosse media industry, doing gameday previews, sideline reporting and multiple interviews of the players and coaches.

Back on Saturday night Maki was in the broadcast booth announcing as the Thunderbirds beat the Albany Firewolves 13-9 for the T-Birds first win of the season, in a huge comeback victory in front of a sold-out Nest of 10,595.
What a game it was for her to be a part of the broadcast crew as the Thunderbirds scored 5 goals in a row in 2:07 on their way to victory.
I had the chance to chat with Maki after the game and she said she felt lucky to be a part of the broadcast, take a listen below:
