Cape Breton author Amanda Crewe, now based in Halifax, is having a book signing and launch of her new one titled “Of Peat Moss & Prayers.”
It’s on this Sunday, April 16th between 2 and 5 at the Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road in Halifax.

After travelling the globe in search of herself, Leanna LaFleur is called back to an Acadian village nestled at the foot of the Highlands she once called home to seek redemption and reconciliation with her roots. Coming to terms with her past and the people she left behind, Leanna faces a difficult return to her old life of superficial glamour or give it all up to remain on Cape Breton Island with a chance of a fresh start.
