Today is World Diabetes Day and Bedford Will Lace Up to End Diabetes

Today is “World Diabetes Day” on this Thursday, November 14th.

You’re invited to gather your family, friends, or co-workers and show your glow at Lace Up to End Diabetes taking place this evening between 5-8 pm in Bedford at the Lebrun Recreation Centre.

Local Lacers are coming together for a 5 km walk (1 km options available) to light up the night sky blue in support of the over 124,000 Nova Scotians living with diabetes.

#LetsMakeTime for the 1 in 3 people affected by diabetes in Canada.

This Diabetes Awareness Month so you’re invited to #WearBlue, share a photo to show your support.

Register today at diabetes.ca under Signature Events, Bedford!

I’m honoured to be the MC for the event, thanks to Tanya Poulton and the folks or the invite.
