Tonight the Grand Ole Opry Celebrates a Country Legend

Tonight the Grand Ole Opry is celebrating country legend Ronnie Milsap for his 50 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Legendary performers will take to its stage in honour of his milestone anniversary including Opry members Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins, Mark Wills, and more.

Ronnie is confirmed to be in there at the celebration.

The country icon has the most No.1 hits in any genre by a blind artist with his 40 number 1 songs.

They’ll be playing some of Ronnie’s best-loved fan favorites tonight from his big catalog with number one tunes like: “It Was Almost Like a Song,” – the first 45 record I ever bought in 1977 – “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World,” “Any Day Now,” and “Smokey Mountain Rain.”

Congratulations on 50, to the legendary Ronnie Milsap, and thanks for the music!
