Former Halifax Mooseheads Captain Ryan Falkenham has been named the new Head Coach of the Truro Bearcats.
Ryan was a part of the Herd’s 2013 championship team that won both the QMJHL President Cup and CHL Memorial Cup.

He’s going into his third season with the Bearcats organization, previously an Assistant Coach brought in by former Moose coach Jon Greenwood, who’s moved on to coach the Dalhousie Men’s Hockey Club.
Prior to his time with the Bearcats, Ryan held positions in coaching with the Drummondville Voltigeurs with Dom Ducharme, Dalhousie Tigers, Citadel High School and the South Shore Lumberjacks Junior B club.
Ryan’s first big event as Head Coach will be the upcoming MHL Draft in Campbellton, New Brunswick at the end of June.
