Halifax’s Ryan Keeping Is Running Now in BC and Had a Special Guest!

Ryan Keeping of Halifax has reached the final province in his cross Canada run and had a “special guest.”

As he entered British Columbia this week, Forrest Gump joined him! It was actually his dad dressed a dead ringer as Forrest from the movie that was released July 6th, 1994, forty years ago next week.

Ryan is running across Canada for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

His family members including his father and grandfather have heart issues, so they are his inspiration along with his idol Terry Fox.

Ryan started out April 1st in St. John’s, Newfoundland at the Terry Fox statue and as now BC here in Day 88 as he runs two marathons a day running 75km a day for 99 days covering 7,386 kms!

Continued good luck Ryan, and just like Forrest: “RUN RYAN, RUN!”
