The NHL Draft is tonight and some of our Halifax Mooseheads are eligible!
Those Moose Country players on the list include:
Tantallon, Nova Scotia’s Jake Furlong who’s ranked 68th among North American Skaters.
Jordan Dumais who led the Moose with 109 points last year is ranked at 73rd.
Markus Vidicek comes in at 116th.
Evan Boucher also ranked at 165.
Newly acquired Czech defenceman David Moravec ranks 44th for European Skaters.
Good luck to our Mooseheads at the draft in getting their names called in Montreal.
Also, congratulations to Tantallon’s Owen Phillips being drafted by the Mooseheads 7th overall this week in the QMJHL Entry Draft, he’ll be playing for the team he grew up cheering for in front of his mom and dad which is always so cool!
The Mooseheads first preseason game is Wednesday, August 24th against the Cape Breton Eagles.
