The 11-Year-Olds Took Over “Kids Day” In Moose Country

Yesterday for Kid’s Day at the Mooseheads game, the 11-year-olds took over!

With 8,178 Moosemaniacs in the stands, Raleigh Boone from Cole Harbour introduced the Mooseheads starting lineup, he plays or the Cole Harbour Red Wings U13AA team and for the Junior Thunderbirds Lacrosse team.

Emery Nelson of Hubbards sang the anthem, she goes to Five Bridges in Hubley.

While Emmett MacIntosh of Dartmouth hosted The Moose Minute filling in for his dad, Scott MacIntosh of the Mooseheads.

Awesome job kids, the future is bright in Moose Country!
Kids Day always one of my favourite games of the season as many special memories are made.
The Herd fell 5-1 to Moncton, the top ranked team in the CHL.

  • Ian Robinson is a lifelong Bluenoser and has been on Nova Scotia radio since 1984. Since 1997, he has been the Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL with over 1,100 games announced, and since 2023, has been the Voice of the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League in “The Nest.”
